Favor Of Gods was created for the Minus Mechanic Game Jam (December 2018). 

> Description

The missing mechanic was "direct enemy attack" and my idea was that the environment could be the attacking part of the game and so I came up with the basic game concept:

The players preach in a temple in order to gain the favor of the gods. The gods send servants to the priests. One servant spawns every few seconds but the player can decide to spawn more servants and thus creates waves of servants running towards the volcano. Servants are used as sacrifices for the gods.  They appreciate these sacrifices and thus throw fireballs at the enemies of the priest.

> Mechanics

The game can be played with a keyboard.

Player 1:
walk left (A) , walk right (D) , pray (W), spawn servants (S)

Player 2:
walk left (left) , walk right (right) , pray (up), spawn servants (down)

> How to play

PRAY TO THE GODS TO OBTAIN SERVANTS. THE HARDER YOU PRAY THE BETTER (KEY-SMASH TOE PRAY-BUTTON NEXT TO THE PRAYER-STONE). SERVANTS RECEIVED FOR PRAYING INCREASES OVER TIME OVER TIME (30 SECONDS)

SACRIFICE SERVANTS TO GAIN THE BLESSING OF THE GODS AND ELIMINATE YOUR ENEMIES.

SERVANTS WILL SPAWN OVER TIME BUT CAN ALSO BE SPAWNED BY THE PLAYER. SERVANTS WILL SPAWN FASTER OVER TIME

TRY TO AVOID THE GODS DIVINE ATTACKS

A PLAYER LOSES ONCE THEY HAVE NO MORE SERVANTS LEFT OR ONCE THEY HAVE NO MORE LIVES LEFT
